NR and the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate collaborate to improve Norwegian flood estimation procedures

The Norwegian Computing Center develops new methods to estimate extreme flooding. This is particularly important for the design and maintenance of dams and other infrastructure.

We collaborate with researchers from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE), the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, University of Oslo and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute in a large interdisciplinary project.
