A news story published by the Research Council of Norway has received considerably international attention. This was based on a research project, CLIMSENS, with CICERO as project responsible and NR as cooperating partner. Project results presented indicate that the warming associated by increased atmospheric CO₂ concentrations is less than previously assumed.

The results from the project were given in a report to the Research Council of Norway.  The methodology was published in Environmetrics in 2012 but the final estimates are still under peer review in a scientific journal. NR and CICERO will wait with dissemination of these results until they are accepted by a journal.
